Today my thoughts crossed paths with: things normally overlooked, that when considered, we don't really know much about.  Such as:
Have you ever seen mail trucks traveling on the streets or highways?  They bring your mail to your mailboxes obviously, but how do they get it there?  It would have to be shipped across the country/world somehow.  And if going very far, it would probably, logically, go by airplane or ship.  But then,  once sent to a major point, to then be further distributed more locally, it would make sense to do this on land.  Obviously using roadways.  Why I never thought about it beats me, but I don't think I can remember seeing a mail truck on the highway, and very very rarely on the streets.  Usually it was somewhere near a post office.
Maybe some of you have actually seen this, but I have not, and imagine it must be a peculiar process, to receive new shipments of animals at a pet store.  I mean with nonliving merchandise, it would come in a box, one that the manager or whoever would have requested on an order form.  But with living animals, how would they order it, for one, and two, how would it come?  On the form, after they sell out of their poodles, would they just check the box for poodle?  And would it come in a crate on a shipment truck alongside the other items ordered?  That just seems weird considering it's a live animal, not a box of shampoo bottles or throw pillow sets.  Maybe I'm the one who's out of the loop here, but I just think that is a little strange, ordering products, and ordering specifically live animals, and whether or not they are done the same.
Why is it the females of species are the ones that have all the hard work to deal with?  They have to get pregnant and carry the babies, they have to give birth to the babies, they nurse the babies, they often protect and feed the babies, they're the ones who get a period if not pregnant, and are left with the burden of childbearing.  Meanwhile, the males are for the most part only equipped to handle the impregnating.  They don't have any baggage to handle after mating/having sex.  And they don't have to deal with the pain and stress of menstruating, nursing, labor, pregnancy, or even parenthood.  They have the option to walk away from parental responsibilities.  Women have to carry around their young until birth, at which time they'd have to take care of them, or else obviously they wouldn't survive.  So yeah, a female can walk away. but of course the young would die.  In terms of the babies surviving, the men aren't required, while women are.  It doesn't seem right or fair.  And why would two genders, not balanced and unequal, be created?  That just doesn't make sense, especially with so many people faithful to God or another higher power.  Are you saying that 'God or equivalent' created two genders, one easier and all around better than the other, and the one we each get is decided at complete random?  So some of us just get to have life easier than others?  What god would do that if he actually loved his 'children' as much as many people make him seem to?
Why do people commonly recall the phrase "The British are coming," when the American Revolution comes up?  Think about it, that really does not make sense.  Okay, so we have here, a group of people who left Britain and traveled to a new land where they planned to become independent and start their own nation.  This group of people was still in conflict against their home country, who was sending an army to invade the rebels' land.  At this point, the rebels were British, and their invading enemies were British.  So, to announce an attack by their enemies, why would the British say "The British are coming!"?  Hmmmmm...  Likely something like "The enemies are coming!" or "They're attacking!" was said...
When someone is legally charged for killing someone who hurt them or their loved one, they often are told that it isn't their decision who lives and who dies, or that they aren't allowed to take the law into their own hands.  So, logically, wouldn't that be equally true for the law enforcement?  Why is it okay for someone else to decide who lives and who dies? And why is it okay for anyone else to take the law into their hands? What really separates people from the group of people elected to positions that get to make legal decisions?  It really is only their elected power.  But in the simplest, they really are all just people.
